All events requiring booking in advance will be promoted via Eventbrite or a venue's box office website.

When booking a private talk or tour with Adam, all information such as meeting time, date and cost will be discussed and agreed in advance. Agreed fees will be paid on completion of the booking - no payment is due in advance.

With regards to walking tours, unless you are contacted by Adam in the event of bad weather to discuss a postponement the walk will go ahead whatever the weather, so please dress accordingly. Remember it is a two hour walking tour, so the group will be on their feet for some time and should make sure they are wearing comfortable footwear.

If you need to cancel the tour for any reason a full refund will be issued, so long as the cancellation is not less than 24 hours of the day the tour is due to start. In these circumstances, the tour will be rescheduled to another date and no refund will be made.

Please arrive a few minutes before the agreed tour starting time. Adam will be happy to wait should you be delayed because of traffic, train delays etc, but delays of more than 30 minutes might result in a postponement and rescheduling. This is because there may be another tour booked for later the same day.

 

Should you expect to be delayed, please contact Adam via phone or email as soon as possible and he will advise. Contact details will be shared following your booking, but please note that once the tour or talk has started Adam will not access his mobile phone until after the tour has finished, out of respect to other guests.

Your group will be responsible for their own personal safety at all times. Please take particular care when crossing roads, and secure personal items such as phones.

Finally, we will not be pausing for food, drink or comfort breaks once the tour starts – so please eat and use the loo, should you need to, before we start!
